What Happens in This Chapter
This short song is a call and a reply. People who serve God in his house at night are told to praise him and lift their hands. Then a blessing is spoken back over them from Zion, the hill in Jerusalem where the temple stood.

Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.
1Praise the LORD, all you who serve him. You stand in God's house through the night. Praise him there.
2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
2Lift up your hands toward the holy place. Praise the LORD.
3The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
3May the LORD bless you from Zion. He is the one who made the heavens and the earth.
Zion is the hill in Jerusalem where God's house, the temple, stood.
