Chapter 133
This short psalm praises what it is like when family members live together in peace. It uses two pictures: oil poured on Aaron's head that runs down his beard and robe, and dew that settles on the mountains. It ends by saying the LORD gives his blessing there, and that blessing is life that never ends.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
1Look how good and how pleasant it is when brothers live together in peace!
2It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
2It is like the costly oil poured on the head of Aaron the priest. The oil ran down his beard and onto the collar of his robes.
Aaron was Israel's first high priest. Scented olive oil was poured on his head when he was set apart for that work.
3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
3It is like the dew on Mount Hermon, and the dew that falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD gave his blessing: life that never ends.
Hermon is a tall mountain in the north with heavy dew. Zion is the hill in Jerusalem where the temple stood.
