Psalms
Chapter 134
This short psalm is a call to the priests and Levites who kept watch in the temple through the night. They are told to praise the LORD and lift their hands toward the holy place. The psalm closes with a blessing spoken back over them from Zion, the hill where the temple stood.

1Now praise the LORD, all you who serve him and stand watch in his house at night.
2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
2Lift up your hands toward the holy place, and praise the LORD.
3The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
