Exodus

The story of how Israel got out of Egypt. It starts with slavery under a king who did not know Joseph, and runs through Moses, the ten plagues, the Passover night, the escape across the sea, and the covenant at Mount Sinai. The last third is law and building plans: the ten commandments, case laws about servants and property and courts, and long instructions for the tent where God would live among the people, followed by the report of that tent being made.
