The Patience of Job and the Lord's End
10Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
Brothers and sisters, think of the prophets who spoke for the Lord. They are an example of patience while suffering.
11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
We say that people who keep going through hard times are blessed. You have heard how Job kept going, and you have seen what the Lord did in the end. The Lord is full of pity and kindness.
