Luke
An orderly account of Jesus' life, written for a man named Theophilus so he could be sure of what he had been taught. It starts before the birth with two families and an angel's visits, follows Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem, and ends with his death, his rising, and his being carried up to heaven. Luke keeps track of the people others overlooked: shepherds, widows, tax collectors, Samaritans, and the women who traveled with Jesus and paid for the work.
