John

The fourth account of Jesus' life, told through seven signs and long conversations. It starts before the world was made, with the Word who was with God, then follows Jesus from a wedding in Cana to arguments in the temple, a man born blind, and Lazarus called out of a tomb four days dead. Nearly half the book covers his last week: a foot washing, a long talk with his friends on the night he was arrested, the cross, and the empty tomb.
