Esther (Greek)

The Greek additions to the book of Esther, gathered as chapters 10 through 16. Mardocheus, a Jew in the king's court at Susa, has a dream of two dragons and a flood, uncovers a plot against the king, and later explains what the dream meant. The rest sets out the full wording of two royal letters, one ordering the Jews destroyed and one canceling it, the prayers of Mardocheus and Esther, Esther fainting as she stands before the throne, and the days of Adar kept as a feast.
