2 Timothy

A letter from Paul to Timothy, written from prison in Rome near the end of Paul's life. Paul tells Timothy to guard the teaching he was given, to pass it on to reliable people, and to take his share of the suffering that comes with it. Mixed in are names of people who left him and people who stood by him, a request for his cloak and books, and his own words about finishing the race.
