2 Thessalonians

A short follow-up letter from Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the church in Thessalonica, written while the believers there were being persecuted. Much of it is about the day the Lord Jesus comes back: the letter tells them not to believe reports that the day has already happened, and says what must take place first, including the rebellion and the man of lawlessness. It ends with practical instructions about work, including what to do about believers who refuse to work and meddle in other people's business.
