2 Kings

The second half of the story of Israel's and Judah's kings, told reign by reign. It follows the prophets Elijah and Elisha, then tracks two kingdoms as Assyria carries Israel away and Babylon burns Jerusalem and takes Judah into exile. Along the way there are healings, sieges, palace killings, a boy king hidden in the temple, and a lost book of the law found during repairs.
