2 Corinthians

Paul's most personal letter to the church in Corinth, written after a painful visit and a tearful letter. He defends his honesty and his right to speak for Christ, answers critics who called him bold on paper and weak in person, and lists what the work has cost him: beatings, prison, shipwreck, hunger, and constant worry about the churches. Two chapters in the middle are about a collection of money he is gathering for the believers in Jerusalem.
